USC - 5G Campaign

First up is the portal video, a looping ambient piece for US Cellular's website 5G landing page. It featured a series of photos with captions, pausing on each statement before zooming through a 5G graphic to transition to the next shot. This was one of my earliest big projects, and I remember spending a lot of time perfecting the smooth camera movements so viewers could focus on the messaging instead of any clunky transitions. Looking back, I’m proud of how it turned out—I learned a ton.

The second piece was a longform video explaining what 5G can really do, and it’s probably one of the most memorable projects in my career. Phil and I wanted every shot to have some kind of VFX, so we used Plexus in After Effects for those signature blue dots and digital elements, tracking them into various scenes. We organized everything so the editing came first, followed by the final VFX pass. It was a good time collaborating with the whole team, and those late nights definitely paid off. This project really boosted my confidence in my skills.
